The new General Data Protection Regulations require anyone holding data to review and publish a privacy policy. Here is ours:

The only data we hold is individuals’ name and email address.

The only use we make of this data is periodic email newsletters.

You can easily unsubscribe at any time: there is an unsubscribe button at the bottom of every newsletter, or email use at: bridportfoodmatters@gmail.com.

This data is stored securely in password-protected OneDrive cloud storage.

Under no circumstances will this data be shared with others.

Of the six reasons for storing data which are permissible under GDPR, we deem that our storage of email addresses has the consent of the data subject, as people join our newsletter list because they ask to, or we ask them and they give us this information.

As and when we cease to use this date for this one purpose, we will cease to store it.
