Please join us for an informal gathering at which we can let you know what we’ve been doing over this past year or so, and we’ll also have an ‘open mic’ where you can share your food-related information, and any wants or offers of help you might have. Maybe there’ll be other suggestions of what can be done in our community to increase our food security and community resilience?
Thursday 14th September 5.45 pm for 6 pm – 7.30 or 8 pm. The Yellow room, Chapel in the Garden, access through the back door in Rax Lane, and up the stairs ahead of you to the right.
6pm the formal business of our Annual General Meeting
6.20 pm – ‘Open Mic’ – a minute or two to share what you are up to, wants and offers, then a general conversation, questions and ideas.
7pm ‘ish – eat, drink and be merry / mingle
We’re providing some cutlery-free snacks – and if you’d like to bring some finger food, or a ‘dip’ to share, that’d be welcome. We’ll have some non-alcoholic drinks for a donation, too.
If you’d like to nominate someone as a BFM Steering Group officer (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer) please let Sarah Wilberforce know in advance on sarahwilberforce@gmail.com
Not essential to book, but we’d be grateful if you could let us know on bridportfoodmatters@gmail.com if you plan to join us for the evening, so we can have an idea about chairs and food to prepare.
We look forward to seeing you to celebrate what we’re all doing, together. Thanks!
Candida, Sarah, Rachel, Rosie, Rose, Luana
p.s. We’re introducing the notion of ‘BFM ‘Partners’ – organisations which share BFM’s Aims and Values; and we’d potentially work together on initiatives. BFM Partners could vote to elect Steering Committee officers, and would be listed on the BFM website. You can complete a form on the night, if you like!
